- The funeral choir is composed of adults in
the parish who sing for funerals.
- Gil Duryea provides musical leadership
with the keyboard for the 9:00 a.m. Sunday Mass.
- Jane Butler leads the music liturgy for the Sunday 11:00 a.m. Mass.

Extraordinary Ministers
of Holy Communion
Extraordinary Ministers of Holy
Communion assist in the distribution of the sacred bread and
wine at Eucharistic Celebrations. The ministers may also take
communion to the faithful in health care centers, or those
who are homebound. Training and continuing education is required.
The minister must be 18 years of age and living a life worthy
of the ministry. The ministry is commissioned for a period

Lectors
Lectors are responsible for
proclaiming the Word of God at liturgical celebrations. Training
and continuing education in scripture are required for this
ministry. Lectors should be living a life worthy of the ministry.

Ushers
Ushers of the parish greet and
welcome those who come to the parish for week-end worship.
Anyone may be an usher (men and women) at St. Joseph Parish.
The taking up of the weekly offering, seating of people, and
distribution of the bulletin comprise the group's main activities.

Servers
Youth of the parish in the fourth
grade and older can be servers. To volunteer, contact Sister
Mary Samuel at 419-468-6330.
Greeters
Greeters make everyone feel
welcome at the Sunday Liturgy of St. Joseph Parish and also
serve as gift bearers at the offertory procession. To volunteer,
contact Delores Kelley at 419-462-1646.
Gift Bearers
Parishioners who would like,
may sign up to take the gifts to the altar during the procession

Liturgy of the Word
for the Little Ones
This class is held during the
11:30 a.m. Mass in the activity
center during the school year for children four-years-old
through kindergarten. The classes are lectionary based and
use the curriculum from Pflaum Gospel Weeklies called "Seeds
for Preschool". Parents may pick up their children after
Mass. Call Mary Ellen Heacock at 419-468-6353
to register a child or to volunteer to teach a class.
