Saint Joseph Catholic
Church is fortunate to have two deacons, ordained for service by the
diocese and assigned by the bishop, serving different areas of need.
While the deacons assist Father Miller in his pastoral and administrative
duties, their duties and
responsibilities vary according to their gifts and talents. Their
vocation is to bring the gospel values to the market place as they
focus on the Church’s ministry of charity and justice, the ministry of
liturgy and the ministry of God’s word. The serving at liturgy and
sharing of God’s word flows from the primary call to minister in acts
of charity and justice.
