Sacristans
Sacristan volunteers do a variety of services
such as cleaning of the church every Friday, care of vestments, making
Baptismal stoles and providing food for funerals, flowers for altars
and activities at nursing homes.
Welcoming
Committee
The Welcome Committee welcomes new parishioners
and provides information about the church and community.
Prayer
Chain
Our Prayer Chain, which is an out-growth of St. Vincent De Paul,
prays for parishioners and the community needs. Prayer requests can be
made by calling the Parish office at 419-468-2884.
Natural
Family Planning
The Sympto-Thermal Method of NFP is safe,
healthy and effective. Individual and group instructions are offered by
professionally trained and Couple-to-Couple League certified Natural
Family Planning counselors. Contact Beth or Nick Phillips at
419-468-4457 for more information.
Grief
Ministry
The Grief Ministry exists to offer support,
encouragement, and prayers to those who have lost a loved one. The
members of the ministry send cards and make phone calls to those
grieving throughout the first year after the death of the loved one.
Cursillos
of Christianity
This group of Catholic men and women promote
evangelization, apostolic plans, and regular small group sharing.
Cursillo weekends are held twice a year for both English speaking men
and women, and once a year for Spanish speaking men and women.

Ultreya is held the second Monday of each month
in St. Joseph Parish House. For additional information on retreats or
