The Sacrament of Confirmation

With Baptism and Eucharist, Confirmation is one of the three sacraments of initiation. Through the outpouring of the special gifts of the Holy Spirit, Confirmation completes the grace of Baptism by confirming or sealing the baptized person's union with Jesus Christ by equipping them for a mature, active participation in the life of the Church.

Confirmation is scheduled to be celebrated on April 28, 2012.  We will celebrate the Sacrament along with Holy Trinity Bucyrus, St. Peter's Huron, and St. Pius X Parish, Toledo. The service will be held at 12 noon in Holy Rosary Cathedral, Toledo. More information will be posted as it becomes available.

The Sacrament is open to all eighth graders and up who are taking an active part in parish life, including attending religious education programs.  Candidates will be required to complete service projects in the parish and community. There is also a retreat requirement.  All areas are covered through religious education classes.
